Chilli Olly has turned things around. From
the boy who started in the Promotional Industry to the Director of multiple
restaurants and public houses, the direction of his young life's journey
so far could have been very different...
Born in Hertfordshire, Olly developed his passion of cooking and entered the professional industry of catering in 2009. He continued to develop his skills through the kitchens of his own restaurants.
He’s paid for many mistakes in his life. These shocks were his turning point and he resolved to work hard to achieve success the right way, taking on consultancy with low performing food operations and start-up businesses. His attention soon turned to the amazing flavour of chillies, and not just focusing on the extreme heat, but discovering the flavours of hundreds of varieties within the capsicum family.
Chilli Olly now operates his own company, and continues as a development consultant chef for many companies here in the UK and Europe. His particular skill in sauce development saw the launch of "Nagalicious" a blend of British Marmalades with a infusion of the Dorset Naga Chilli in early 2016. He was an immediate success within the industry and is now a regular speaker and tour guide at the home of British Chillies, Edible Ornamentals in Bedfordshire. He was also invited as a VIP speaker for Winter Good Food Show 2016 at the NEC in Birmingham, which examined using chillies within not only in food but also in drink. International TV programs have taken note of his natural ability and he's recently appeared on several programs most recently on the Aalghad TV Network alongside Mico Saad.
Chilli Olly is an authoritative, fluent and compelling performer. His food concepts are accessible and fresh, stressing simplicity with quality, and he regularly presents live demonstrations.
